East Oktibbeha Volunteer Fire Department

East Oktibbeha Fire Rescue prides itself on being well trained and well prepared for any scenario. 

 

Department-wide training takes place twice per month, on the first and second Tuesdays of the month. These training meetings cover various topics and scenarios, from interior fire attack and fire suppression to medical response and patient care. 

 

In addition to department-wide training, many of our firefighters train together in their free time, focusing on physical fitness.

 

All of our firefighters and officers hold certifications through the Mississippi Fire Academy.
